Quality Audit

Internal audits are a highly important part of any business. Even if the company in question is not certified to ISO9001:2008 internal audits can provide indications for areas of improvement within any company. This is indeed GEM Subseas view. Internal audits are also a must have clause within the ISO9001 standard, so with this in mind GEM Subsea offers the below with regards to internal audits:

• Impartial auditor qualified by a recognised UKAS certified trainer
• Auditors with over 10 years of auditing experience
• Different types of manufacture, and industries audited
• Full report writing services
• Feedback on improvement through constructive means
• Audits completed on internal procedures and relevant quality standards

GEM Subsea has auditors that are also experienced in Supplier Quality audits. We offer our clients a full system audit service where we can do a snap shot 1, 2 or 3 day audit service (depending on the supplier size) to assess their capabilities against specific requirements set by our client on the selected supplier. This will be a top down audit that includes both relevant standards and internal processes.

Full system audits are also available as preparation for certification to ISO9001:2008 to aid clients to achieving this goal.

GEM Subsea offers the same basic services as within the internal audits, with the addition of following up on any findings in collaboration with our client where necessary.
